Speaking at the open night, MRS Executive Manager, Cathy Jubb, says it’s an exciting time for the school.

“Since 1984, the Melbourne Radio School has been instrumental in giving so many people a start in the industry – you only have to visit the new MRS website to see how many students are moving through the Intro to Radio Course and being placed into directly into employment. It’s an exciting time for our vibrant industry and it’s very satisfying to have moved MRS into this fantastic new facility where we can continue to build on a long history of success stories.”

MRS is owned by the ACE Radio Network and offers a 10-week comprehensive course for entry into the industry, as well as short courses on creative writing, voiceover and writing for radio news.  Award winning radio shows such as the “Dirty 30 countdown” and “Off the Bench with Craig Hutchison and Liam Pickering” are also produced from the MRS studios.
